What is my leadership experience?
I’ve been volunteering with this team since 2019 and have loved every minute of it. Along the way, I earned a collegiate certificate in Applied Leadership and have taken on several leadership roles at Boise State, including section leader in the Blue Thunder Marching Band and Lead College of Engineering Ambassador. I’ve also held multiple leadership positions within my sorority, such as Director of Finance, Social Chair, and Retreat Chair. Each experience has shaped my leadership style and reinforced my passion for serving and supporting others.

What is the “why” behind my involvement in this project?
My “why” comes down to two things: the people and the purpose. I love this team and the message we carry, one that encourages young people to understand themselves, lead with intention, and recognize the impact they can have on others. As Director of Volunteers, I am passionate about empowering youth leaders and creating spaces where they feel supported as they step into their own leadership. Getting to watch students take the tools we share and apply them in real, meaningful ways is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I get to play even a small role in their story as they go on to do amazing things is what keeps me coming back.
