Role: Director of Recruitment
The Director of Recruitment for the Leadership Seminar is responsible for developing and executing strategies to recruit high school students to participate in the FLY seminar. This includes initiating outreach to schools, building relationships with educators and administrators, and promoting the seminar to potential participants. The Director leads the Recruitment Team in coordinating visits, presentations, and communication efforts to effectively engage with students across the region.
They are tasked with creating outreach materials, managing communication timelines, and ensuring recruitment efforts reflect the values and goals of the organization. The Director collaborates with the Media and Program teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with seminar content. During the lead-up to the event, the Director tracks recruitment progress, addresses challenges, and adjusts strategies as needed to meet participation goals. Their efforts are central to building a diverse and motivated group of youth leaders for the seminar.
